Everything's coming up roses!

I had this drawing of the girl and her dog on my bulletin board for some time. The dog is actually my sister's new pup. Then I ran across an image of old 50's rose wallpaper. I thought that's what I want on her coat or maybe behind her...that's when I go crazy. I always start playing and can't seem to quit. Is it too busy? Does she look better with just the pattern on her coat? But I do love the print I came up with. Maybe I should actually put her in a room with the print on the walls. But why would she be inside with a coat on and her dog on a leash? hahaha! I think I will watercolor her also just because I like her and after I spend a lot of time on the computer I generally feel the need to paint.
