Illustration friday:communication

I have been working on this greeting card design and clicked over to illustration Friday and saw that the subject was 'communication'. I thought how appropriate...I have been making very subtle changes to this painting so that she would communication something completely different. It is funny when you finding yourself fiddling with the little line that makes up "the nose" for 15 minutes. When I paint like this every line counts. Does it work, is she communicating something different in each piece?
