Groovy and Obsessed...

I was having the hardest time trying to decide whether or not to go to my knitting class today or stay in my studio. I usually don't feel too guilty taking time out to sit and knit but I have just been so driven (obsessed?) in my studio lately. One of the point's in Karim's book says "It's okay to put pressure on yourself to excel, accomplish, succeed and produce." When I first read this, my German upbringing that I have been trying to suppress for years got very excited. Do more! Work harder!

But objectively it's just about passion and the passion I am feeling is driving me and that feels good. So I will knit tonight watching crazy people on American Idol, although last night I ended up sketching the entire time...is that obsessive or excited? Anyway, here is a promo piece I having been playing with. Another groovy girl.
